Industrial Duct Cooler Price in India (2026): 60 L to 150 L

Quick answer: in October 2026, AUSH Industrial Duct Coolers cost between ₹33,200 and ₹46,999 including 18% GST, with free delivery in our service cities. The 60 L model (2,300 CFM) cools about 800 sq ft, and the 120 L and 150 L models (11,500 CFM) cool about 4,000 sq ft each. Per unit of airflow, the bigger models are far cheaper: about ₹3.75 per CFM for the 120 L, against about ₹14 per CFM for the 60 L.

All four have a metal body, an insulated GRP water tank, a blower that keeps water on the pads instead of throwing it into the air, saving about 75% water (see how blower coolers save water), and a 2-year warranty. Prices include GST and free delivery by AUSH's own fleet. Offers change, so check the product page for today's price.

Coverage assumes a 10 ft ceiling and normal use, about 3 CFM per sq ft. For workshops with hot machines, kitchens or crowded halls, plan on about 5 CFM per sq ft: roughly 460, 1,300 and 2,300 sq ft for the 2,300, 6,500 and 11,500 CFM models.

Price per CFM: Why Bigger Units Are Better Value

ModelPrice per CFMRunning cost per hour*
60 Labout ₹14.40₹7.60
90 Labout ₹5.90₹8.70
120 Labout ₹3.75₹16.60
150 Labout ₹4.10₹20.70

If you have three-phase power, one large cooler is usually cheaper to buy and to run than several small ones. One 120 L Duct Cooler gives 11,500 CFM for ₹43,100 and draws 1.66 kW. Getting the same airflow from five 60 L units would cost ₹1,66,000 and draw 3.8 kW.

What Decides the Price of an Industrial Cooler

  • Airflow (CFM): the biggest factor, because it sets how much floor area the cooler can handle. Tank size does not change the cooling area; it only changes how long the cooler runs between refills.
  • Blower or axial fan: a blower (centrifugal fan) builds the pressure needed to push air through ducting and over a long throw. Ordinary axial-fan coolers cost less but cannot drive air through ducts well.
  • Body and tank: a metal body takes heavy daily use; an insulated tank keeps the water from heating up in the sun.
  • Power supply: the three-phase models move far more air per watt. The 90 L model gives about 7.5 CFM per watt, against about 3 CFM per watt for the single-phase 60 L.
  • Cooling pads: honeycomb (cellulose) pads cool better and last longer than wood-wool (grass) pads, and cost more.

Extra Costs to Budget For

  • Ducting and grilles: needed when you want to carry air to several points or down to worker height. The cost depends on the length and route.
  • Mounting: a wall bracket, roof stand or ground stand.
  • Electrical work: a three-phase supply point with proper protection for the 90, 120 and 150 L models.
  • Water supply and drain: a nearby water line and drain point make refilling and cleaning easy.

Running Cost per Month

At 10 hours a day, 30 days a month and ₹10 per unit of electricity:

  • 60 L (0.76 kW): about ₹7.60 an hour, or ₹2,280 a month
  • 90 L (0.87 kW): about ₹8.70 an hour, or ₹2,610 a month
  • 120 L (1.66 kW): about ₹16.60 an hour, or ₹4,980 a month
  • 150 L (2.07 kW): about ₹20.70 an hour, or ₹6,210 a month

Replace ₹10 with the rate on your own electricity bill. For a full comparison with air conditioning, see Air Cooler vs AC: Running Cost per Month.

Which Model Should You Buy?

  • Up to 800 sq ft, single-phase power only: the 60 L Duct Cooler. If you don't need ducting, an AUSH Blower Cooler gives the same 2,300 CFM for ₹8,500–₹14,200.
  • 800–2,250 sq ft: the 90 L Duct Cooler.
  • 2,250–4,000 sq ft: the 120 L Duct Cooler, or the 150 L if you want the biggest tank.
  • Above 4,000 sq ft: several 120 L or 150 L units spread evenly along one wall. An 8,000 sq ft warehouse needs about two 120 L units (23,000 CFM).

Duct Cooler vs Air Conditioning for 4,000 sq ft

Air conditioning needs roughly 1 ton for every 125–200 sq ft in Indian summers, so 4,000 sq ft needs about 20–32 tons: fourteen to twenty-two 1.5-ton units. At about 1.0–1.5 kW each, that is roughly ₹42,000–₹99,000 a month in electricity on the same 10-hours-a-day basis, against about ₹4,980 for one 120 L Duct Cooler. An AC also needs a closed space, which most workshops and godowns are not. A duct cooler needs open exits and works best in dry weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of an industrial duct cooler in India?

AUSH Industrial Duct Coolers cost ₹33,200 (60 L, 2,300 CFM), ₹38,500 (90 L, 6,500 CFM), ₹43,100 (120 L, 11,500 CFM) and ₹46,999 (150 L, 11,500 CFM), including 18% GST, as of October 2026.

How much area does an industrial duct cooler cover?

Plan on about 3 CFM per sq ft for normal use with a 10 ft ceiling, and 5 CFM per sq ft for hot or crowded spaces. A 6,500 CFM cooler covers about 2,250 sq ft in normal use; an 11,500 CFM cooler covers about 4,000 sq ft.

Does a duct cooler need three-phase power?

The AUSH 60 L Duct Cooler runs on 220 V single phase. The 90 L, 120 L and 150 L models need a 415 V three-phase supply.

Does a bigger tank mean more cooling?

No. Cooling area depends on airflow (CFM). A bigger tank only lets the cooler run longer between refills, which is why the 120 L and 150 L models cover the same area.

How much electricity does an industrial cooler use?

AUSH Duct Coolers draw 0.76 kW to 2.07 kW, which is about ₹7.60 to ₹20.70 an hour at ₹10 per unit.

Do duct coolers work in humid weather?

They cool much less when the air is already humid, such as during the monsoon or in coastal cities. See why air coolers stop working in humid weather.
